Cumberland Avenue Merchants Association and Project Archive

The Cumberland Avenue Merchants Association (CAMA) met and voted to host a cleanup on Cumberland on Tuesday, May 22 from 9-11 AM. Parking will be available in the Copper Cellar upper lot (closest to White Avenue). McDonald’s has offered to provide free coffee and biscuits for volunteers and their lot will be available for additional parking, as needed. We anticipate this will be a kick off to a social media campaign for merchants to help by having staff pick up litter at the beginning of each shift (more on that to develop over the next few weeks).

KKB will provide all the supplies necessary- trash bags, safety vest, litter pickers, and gloves. We are working in conjunction with Public Service for trash disposal.
