Two Week Look Ahead

Over the past week, the installation of a water line was completed in North 20th. The sewer line in the alley between North 19th and North 18th (behind Copper Cellar) has progressed from 19th to the NW corner of Copper Cellar's property. The primary duct bank installation has been completed in South 18th, north side storm drainage installed to structure between Starbucks and Shell, storm drainage in North 21st is complete new signal arms have been installed on 17th and Clinch.

 

 

 

As you travel on Cumberland, please be patient with traffic delays as our construction crews work to keep our project moving forward to 17th Street.

Over the next two weeks expect to see:

 

  • The Closure of Cumberland at 17th street March 12-14 (5 AM to 6 AM)

  • Sewer construction continues in alley between North 19th and North 18th (behind Copper Cellar) - three week duration

  • Continuation of Phase 2 Storm Drainage installation moving eastward toward 17th Street

  • Continuation of the installation of primary electrical duct bank in South 18th in order to give KUB the ability to facilitate north side overhead electrical removals for Phase 2.

  • Temporary street lighting on the south side between 22nd and 21st begins January 18, 2016.
